In accordance with European regulation n° 2016/679 of 27 April 2016

(Called « General Data Protection Regulation » or GDPR)

This charter (hereinafter referred to as : the « Charter ») describes how ALSTEF AUTOMATION SAS located at BP 9018, 104 Boulevard de la Salle, 45963 Orléans processes your personal data via (hereinafter referred to as : the “Website”), published by ALSTEF AUTOMATION SAS (hereinafter referred to as : the “Publisher”) responsible for data processing. This processing is carried out in conformity with the respect of privacy and protection of the user’s personal data.

This Charter allows you to learn about how the Publisher acquires, uses and stores your personal data (hereinafter referred to as : the “Data”). Described here are the types of Data that we may collect, process and/or transfer when you access and/or use the Website.

This charter is liable to be updated depending on changes in Law and processed data. If any provision of this Charter were to be declared void or contrary to the regulation, said provision shall be deemed unwritten but nevertheless shall not lead to the nullity of the other provisions of this Charter.

The Charter applies to data collected :

  • Upon mere surfing through the Website
  • When you fill a contact request through the Website
  • When you submit an application through the Website

The Charter shall not apply to the data collected by third parties (website, applications, advertisements, etc.) redirecting the user to the Website. By browsing our website, you accept the application of this Charter in its entirety. You are responsible for the veracity of the data submitted via the Website. What data do we collect ? 

Depending on your use of the Website (application, contact, etc.), the Publisher may collect the following Data :

  • Your email address for all the electronic communications with the Publisher ;
  • Your Identity following a contact request : nationality, surname, first name, email address and telephone number ;
  • Your resume and cover letter for all applications through the Website ;

How is your data collected ?

Some Data are collected directly from your input in the forms. In that case, you will be asked to provide your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

For the use of cookies, you are asked to provide your consent at your first connection and may change it at any moment via the “Cookies” link in the footer.

For what purpose are your data collected ?

As a user of the Website, your data are collected (according to your consent) to :

  • Allow you to contact us via our contact forms ;
  • Allow you to apply for any of our job offers, internships, dual education system offers or send spontaneous applications.

The Cookies/tracking devices collect those data to :

  • Allow the tracking of your current session to use our services (accounts, etc.) and improve your user experience. The refusal of those cookies will prevent the full use of our Website.
  • Analyze and track the Website traffic for statistical purposes, to improve the Website and monitor its efficiency.

Who processes your data ?

Your data are processed by the Publisher’s staff to manage the Website and applications.

Some data may be communicated to subcontractors or service providers (Google for stats tracking, We Recruit for the recruitment). Each of these players follows an undertaking of confidentiality regarding the use and processing of your personal data.

All subcontractors, service providers, stakeholders or other third parties mentioned above are obligated by the way of contractual obligations to respect data privacy and protection and to process them only for purposes, for which we transmit those data.

How long are your data stored ?

The Publisher stores your data for a period of time necessary for the achievement of the pursued objectives mentioned above. This storage duration varies with the Data and their nature. The pursued objective may change this duration. Certain legal obligations impose a specific storage duration.

Your data may be stored for up to 1 year after contact via our dedicated forms.

Your resume and cover letters for any application may be stored for up to 730 days. Once this deadline has expired, you will receive an email after which your data will be deleted (except if you send a written request).

All other data will be stored for up to 1 year.

The data collected via cookies or tracking devices will be stored for up to 13 months. After the storage durations mentioned above, your data will be anonymized and stored for strictly statistical purposes.


How are your data protected ?

The data that you provide are stored on a server secured and protected by a firewall and an antivirus. All technical and organizational measures have been taken in order to ensure the security and privacy of your Data against any accidental loss and against any unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure.

It is, however, impossible to ensure an optimal security of the data exchanges via the internet. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of the data transmitted to the Website. You transmit your Data at your own risk and we shall not be held liable if you do not observe the privacy settings or security measures on the Website. You acknowledge that you too are responsible for the security of your information, via the securing and maintaining of the secrecy of your password.

The Publisher shall never ask you to give your password.


What are your rights ?

You have the possibility to express your consent or refusal on the collection and use of the Data that you transmit to us :

  • You can use our Website without the use of cookies/tracking devices. In that case, some parts of our website may become dysfunctional or partially unavailable.
  • You can refuse the collection of your contact data when entering your information. In that case, it will be impossible to contact us via our Website.

In accordance with the provisions of the regulation applicable to personal data protection and in particular with the European regulation 2016/679 on data protection (GDPR) and the law of the 6 January 1978 N°78-17 called “informatique et libertés” and its amendments, you have the right to access and change your data.

Moreover, subject to the conditions of this regulation for the exercise of those rights, you have :

  • A right to the deletion of your data (except accounting data, the storage of which is required by French law for 10 years – Article L123-22 of the Commercial Code)
  • A right to the limitation of the processing of your data
  • A right to the objection to the processing of your data for legitimate reasons, in accordance with article 21 of the GDPR
  • A right to the portability of your data (for the automatic processing based on consent or contract implementation)
  • A right to the withdrawal of your consent after it was given. When the processing of your Data is carried out based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any moment.

The publisher is likely to ask you to prove your identity before any change or deletion of your personal data. We have a one-month deadline to answer to any request regarding the exercise of your rights. This deadline can be extended by two months, due to the complexity or excessive quantity of those requests.


Where are your data stored ?

The data collected by the Publisher in accordance with this Charter are stored exclusively in France by the supervisor of the processing or its providers.
