Thirteen is the number of automated high bay warehouses built by ALSTEF for dairy products storage.                                                                                                                     

After SFPL and LUXLAIT in 2007, LACTALIS entrusted ALSTEF to build its automated storage system in France at Vitré. 

The 10,560 pallets warehouse will store the products coming out of production line. It will help to enhance the shipment operations in order to cope with the production increase. The solution proposed by ALSTEF cuts down the investment cost while treating high throughput. It consists in 3 double load and double depth stacker-cranes handling pallets by two. ALSTEF STOCKWARE® software in connection with LACTALIS  I.T. will manage the pallets and the equipment. 

STOCKWARE® software developed by ALSTEF over the last 10 years is now controlling the storage process of over 50 sites worldwide. 

LACTALIS System will be in operation at the end of 2010. 

This new project shows LACTALIS confidence in ALSTEF. The collaboration started in 1984 with the first warehouse at L’HERMITAGE followed by another one at LONS in 1992 and by the warehouse expansions realized in 1993 and 2003 at L’HERMITAGE.
